Raw Vegan Roma Tomato and Tahini Dressing

Raw-Vegan-Roma-Tomato-and-Tahini-DressingI was so excited when I found this recipe because I really needed to add some variety to my dressing recipe collection with one that wasn’t the color green!

This Raw Vegan Roma Tomato and Tahini Dressing was perfect and you probably already have the 5 simple ingredients on hand to make it.

It is so easy to make and is just a matter of putting everything in your Vitamix and in less than 5 minutes, you have a healthy homemade salad dressing ready to go.

The dressing has a strong tahini taste to it with a little bit of spicy from the cayenne and a little tangy from the apple cider vinegar.

I used roma tomatoes but of course you could use any type of tomato and I added a little more cayenne pepper than what is listed in the recipe so just adjust according to your taste.

The ingredient list shown below is enough to make approximately one serving so if you need more, just double the recipe.

  • 1 organic roma tomato (cut into 4 - 8 pieces)
  • 1/3 cup organic tahini
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Bragg organic apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
  • 1 pinch organic ground cayenne pepper


Step 1 Put all ingredients into a Vitamix and blend until smooth and creamy.



This recipe will make approximately (1) serving.

    Thanks for sharing! I use tahini in a lot of my dressings and sauces (even overnight oats!!) so of course I’m excited to try this, as well! And I’ll also be checking out the granola at my whole food life .. sounds yummy :)

      I actually made the tahini granola this morning and have a batch in the oven at this very moment lol. No procrastination on that one!
