Here is the official Classic Acai Bowl recipe, which if you've never tried it, is really like a smoothie in a bowl!
As many times as I've bought the Sambazon Acai Smoothie packs...I've always just made smoothies with them, with my favorite being my Acai Berry and Banana Immunity Smoothie.
Oh, and I made some really good Acai Berry and Banana Mini Cheesecakes too!
But this is the first time I've actually had a smoothie in a bowl, and I really liked it.
It's very simple to make, and you make it in a Vitamix, just like a regular smoothie.
But the next step is the fun part...choosing which toppings to use...the varieties are endless!

For the smoothie bowl:
- 2 Sambazon Acai Smoothie Packs
- 1/4 cup homemade almond milk
- 1/2 organic banana
For the topping:
- 2 tablespoons homemade granola
- 1/2 organic banana
Instructions
- Add all ingredients for the smoothie bowl to a Vitamix and blend until smooth and creamy, using the tamper if necessary.
- Transfer the mixture into a serving bowl.
- Garnish with the toppings.
