Homemade Almond Milk: You can substitute with your favorite non-dairy milk.Hemp Protein: I used Nutiva Hemp Protein + Hi-Fiber in this recipe but you can substitute it with plain organic hemp protein or your favorite organic plant-based vegan protein powder.Lucuma Powder: This ingredient was added to increase the nutritional profile but can be omitted.Fresh or Frozen Fruit: You can add either but if you use fresh fruit, you may want to add 6-7 ice cubes to your Vitamix with the other ingredients to give the smoothie a thick and frosty consistency.
