These Gluten-Free Vegan Flourless Double Chocolate Avocado Brownies are an easy and healthy recipe made with only 9 clean, real food ingredients. This fudgy, moist plant-based dessert is made without eggs, butter or white flour!
Prepare an 8 x 8 baking dish lined with parchment paper and set aside.
Prepare the flax egg:
Add all ingredients for the flax egg to a small bowl and whisk together. Set aside.
Prepare the brownie mixture:
Cut the two avocados in half, remove the pit and add the avocado flesh to a medium-size mixing bowl. Mash it with a fork until it is creamy and smooth.
Add the remaining ingredients for the brownie mixture to the bowl of mashed avocado.
Add the chocolate-chip add-in to the bowl with the brownie mixture.
Re-whisk the flax egg and add it to the bowl with the brownie mixture.
Stir everything together until it is well combined and all ingredients are evenly distributed.
Assembly:
Transfer the brownie mixture to the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly in the pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 35-45 minutes, or until it is baked all the way through.
Allow the brownies to cool before cutting and serving or they will be crumbly.
Store in an air-tight BPA-free container in the refrigerator or room temperature.
