    This Gluten-Free Vegan Raw Roma Tomato and Tahini Dressing is an easy and healthy recipe made with only 6 clean, real food ingredients. It's the perfect plant-based dressing for your favorite salad and it can be made in under 5 minutes!

    Gluten-Free Vegan Raw Roma Tomato and Tahini Dressing

    I was so excited when I found this recipe because I really needed to add some variety to my dressing recipe collection with one that wasn't the color green!

    This healthy plant-based dressing was perfect and you probably already have the 5 simple ingredients on hand to make it.

    It is so easy to make and is just a matter of putting everything in your Vitamix and in less than 5 minutes, you have a healthy homemade salad dressing ready to go.

    The dressing has a strong tahini taste to it with a little bit of spice from the cayenne and a little tangy from the freshly squeezed lemon juice.

    I used Roma tomatoes but of course, you could use any type of tomato and I added a little more cayenne pepper than what is listed in the recipe so just adjust according to your taste.

    The ingredient list shown below is enough to make approximately 1/2 cup so if you need more, just double the recipe.

    • Vitamix

    Ingredients

    • 1 organic Roma tomato (quartered pieces)
    • 1/3 cup organic tahini
    • 2 tablespoons organic lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
    • 2 cloves organic garlic
    • 1/4 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
    • 1 pinch organic ground cayenne pepper
    US Customary - Metric

    Instructions

    • Add all ingredients to a Vitamix and blend until creamy and smooth.
    • Taste and adjust the seasonings to your preference.
    • Store in an air-tight BPA-free container in the refrigerator.

      Thanks for sharing! I use tahini in a lot of my dressings and sauces (even overnight oats!!) so of course, I was so excited to try this, as well! So delicious!! And I'll also be checking out the granola at my whole food life .. sounds yummy 🙂

        I actually made the tahini granola this morning and have a batch in the oven at this very moment lol. No procrastination on that one!

        The smell is divine and I'm just waiting to finish my homemade coconut milk to go with it.

      This looks great! I love finding alternative uses for tahini. I make a granola out of it that is quite tasty. I am going to have to try this. Thanks for sharing. 🙂
