Matcha is energizing which makes it perfect for breakfast when starting your day, and it also provides 10x the antioxidants than regular green tea.
I combined it with healthy fat from avocado and naturally sweetened it with a banana and it's ready in about 5 minutes using my Vitamix high-speed blender.
One of the great things about smoothie bowls, is once you've got the nutrient-dense base made, you can get creative and customize the top with your favorite fruits and superfoods.
On this smoothie bowl, I used blueberries, unsweetened shredded coconut flakes, chia seeds, sliced bananas and a spoonful of Pro Matcha on top to stir in - but feel free to use your favorite toppings or whatever you have on hand.

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup homemade almond milk
- 1 organic banana
- 1/2 organic avocado
- 2 scoops Pro Matcha Protein + Matcha Tea
Optional Toppings:
- organic blueberries, organic banana slices, organic chia seeds, organic shredded coconut flakes
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a Vitamix and blend on high until everything is well combined and smooth.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and top with your favorite fruits, superfoods or suggested toppings listed above.
